Seed Types Explained
Photoperiod
Require light cycle change (12/12) to flower. Larger yields, more control, longer grow time. Best for experienced growers.
Pro: Largest yields, cloneable, most variety
Con: Requires light management, 4-6 month grow
Autoflower
Flower based on age (typically 70-90 days seed to harvest). Derived from Cannabis ruderalis. Perfect for beginners.
Pro: Fast, no light management, multiple harvests/year
Con: Smaller yields, cannot clone successfully
Feminized
Guaranteed female plants (99%+). No males means no pollination risk. Can be photoperiod or autoflower.
Pro: No wasted space on males, all plants produce bud
Con: Slightly higher stress hermaphrodite risk
Regular
50/50 male/female ratio. Required for breeding and creating your own genetics. Seeds from natural pollination.
Pro: Best for breeding, genetic diversity, cheaper
Con: Must identify and remove males, 50% plant loss
CBD Seeds
Bred for high CBD, low THC (below 0.3%). Legal in most countries. No psychoactive effects.
