Always decarboxylate cannabis before cooking (240\u00b0F/115\u00b0C for 40 min). Raw cannabis contains THCA which is not psychoactive. Start with low doses and wait 2 hours before eating more. Keep edibles away from children and pets.

Classic Cannabutter

The foundation of cannabis cooking. Decarboxylated cannabis infused into butter using low, slow heat. Used in brownies, cookies, sauces, and more.

Steps

  1. 1Decarb 7-10g of ground cannabis at 240°F (115°C) for 40 minutes
  2. 2Melt 1 cup (2 sticks) butter with 1 cup water in a saucepan
  3. 3Add decarbed cannabis, simmer on lowest heat for 2-3 hours
  4. 4Strain through cheesecloth into a container
  5. 5Refrigerate until butter solidifies, discard water
  6. 6Store in fridge for 2 weeks or freezer for 6 months

Cannabis-Infused Coconut Oil

Versatile cooking oil with higher fat content than butter, meaning better cannabinoid absorption. Vegan-friendly and great for topicals too.

Steps

  1. 1Decarb 7-10g cannabis at 240°F for 40 minutes
  2. 2Combine 1 cup coconut oil with decarbed cannabis in a double boiler
  3. 3Heat on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally
  4. 4Strain through cheesecloth
  5. 5Store in glass jar at room temperature

Cannabis Gummies

Homemade cannabis gummies with precise dosing. Use your infused coconut oil or tincture for even distribution.

Steps

  1. 1Heat 1/2 cup fruit juice in a saucepan (do not boil)
  2. 2Whisk in 1 packet unflavored gelatin until dissolved
  3. 3Add 1 packet flavored gelatin, stir until smooth
  4. 4Remove from heat, stir in 2 tbsp cannabis coconut oil
  5. 5Add 1/2 tsp sunflower lecithin for even distribution
  6. 6Pour into silicone molds quickly
  7. 7Refrigerate 2+ hours until firm

Cannabis Brownies

Steps

  1. 1Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. 2Melt 1/2 cup cannabutter with 1 cup sugar
  3. 3Add 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla, mix well
  4. 4Combine 1/3 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 tsp each salt and baking powder
  5. 5Fold dry into wet ingredients
  6. 6Pour into greased 8x8 pan
  7. 7Bake 25-30 minutes

Cannabis Tea

Soothing cannabis-infused tea. THC needs fat to bind, so adding cream, coconut milk, or cannabutter is essential for potency.

Steps

  1. 1Boil 3 cups water
  2. 2Add 1g decarbed cannabis in a tea infuser
  3. 3Add 1 tbsp coconut oil or cannabutter (fat is essential)
  4. 4Simmer on low for 15 minutes
  5. 5Add your favorite tea bag and honey to taste
  6. 6Strain and serve

Cannabis Tincture (Green Dragon)

Steps

  2. 2Place in a mason jar with 2oz high-proof alcohol (Everclear)
  3. 3Seal and shake vigorously for 30 seconds
  4. 4Store in a cool, dark place for 2-4 weeks
  5. 5Shake daily
  6. 6Strain through coffee filter into dropper bottles
  7. 7Start with 0.5ml dose sublingually
